Job Description

We are looking for senior-level software engineers to join our team. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused product development team. This role requires good communication skills, both with team members and business contacts.

Responsibilities

• Code – Write fantastically tight, production quality code in Java using both open source and proprietary frameworks and libraries
• Design – Design, build, configure, test, and document production quality software on an iterative basis
• Lead –  Provide technical leadership to a project team, including requirements analysis, brainstorming, design, implementation, and delivery of new features
• Architect – Define and advocate architectural principals of the software
• Deliver – Act as a product manager's technical resource in delivering business value to the market
• Improve – Drive continuous improvement for all aspects of the SDLC.  Participate in definition and implementation of software development process and related process improvements
• Evangelize – Be an evangelist for best practices and new technology within the Engineering team
• Mentor – Mentor software engineers

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of object oriented server side development and object oriented design
• 6+ years recent Java for server side development
• 3+ years recent experience with SQL in a highly transactional application
• Experience with JBoss and Oracle 10g(+) highly desired
• Experience with Scala a plus
• Solid understanding of enterprise architecture (i.e., end-to-end architecture including applications, operations tools and practices, networking, etc.) 
• Proven experience building production quality web services
• Experience with build processes and tools (Ivy, Ant, Capistrano, puppet, bash scripts, etc)
• Configuration Management experience highly desired (version control, branch management, release management) 
• Experience in production operations highly desired
• Experience with distributed data grid implementations highly desired
• SaaS experience highly desired 
• Strong experience with Linux/UNIX
• Strong technical design skills
• Experience and desire to work in a highly collaborative and Agile setting
• BS or higher degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
