ClearTrial Announces New Addition to its Clinical Trial Operations Planning & Outsourcing Software

ClearTrial , LLC, a leading provider of Clinical Trial Operations Planning (CTOP) software, today announced the release of ClearTrial Track its latest addition to the ClearTrial software suite that helps life sciences firms and clinical research organizations plan, forecast, budget, and optimize clinical trials.

ClearTrial Track is a very fast and easy-to-use application for tracking high level progress for clinical studies that are underway, said Michael Soenen, Chief Operating Officer at ClearTrial . Some of our smaller customers were looking for faster visibility to study costs they are liable for and how much work and cost remain. ClearTrial Track gives them a quick way to track and report on progress very quickly.

ClearTrial Track is targeted for use primarily by small to mid-sized biotech companies and small pharmaceutical companies that do not have a clinical trial management system (CTMS). It is not intended as a substitute for a CTMS since the software does not track detailed site activity and study progress. It does however allow users to track patient enrollment, site approvals, site status, and progress and cost for major units of work. It also has graphical reports for status communication among team members and partners.

Since ClearTrial Track is integrated with ClearTrial Plan and ClearTrial Source, it can overlay actual study progress against the original clinical plan and budget generated by the other ClearTrial products.
